I think that, if he is a darkfriend, it is unlikely that she would know that much about him and be able to put into her book. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure Egwene's reaction to the embassy sent to the Black Tower would have been more extreme than thinking that they were overdue for returning to the Tower.
I think she would have at least thought of warning Elayne and, either directly or indirectly, Rand (it may have to be indirectly since his dreams have been Warded since about Book IV), seeing as how the Black Tower is in Andor.
