That's the whole point of Asmodean's comment. It does not matter how much more of the Power Rand channels, his maximum gateway size is set at 4x4 paces. That's the limit for one man, irrespective of whether he uses the Choedan Kal or not.


I agree that 4 x 4 is the limit for one person. But I think it does matter if you have an angreal or sa'angreal. For example, if you could make a gateway 1 x 1 unaided, then with an angreal or sa'angreal you should be able to potentially make a gateway 4 x 4 (depending on the strength of the angreal or sa'angreal).
