Breaking her won't solve the entire problem. Look at Moghedien's example.

The problem is more complex than just breaking Elaida. Sul'dam can compel the damane to make a weave, but the because the damane has no control, the damane cannot just "demonstrate" the weave for the sul'dam. Look at Moghedien's example when she is captured. Elayne, Nynaeve, and Egwene struggled to learn things from Moghedien. The damane has to try to describe the weave for the sul'dam and then through trial and error the sul'dam have to try to work it out for herself.
The easiest way would be to surround Elaida with 10 damane, take off the collar and tell her to form the weave herself and then put the collar back on her. If Elaida doesn't comply, you put the collar back on and torture her some more. Then you repeat over and over again until Elaida shows you the weave for traveling. That's the quick way to get the weave.

How long until Elaida is broken and reveals the Travelling Weave to the Seanchan?

What lies did Leanne tell? Really, there's no reason to dismiss a redemptive arc for Elaida.

PS why give Elaida a new name "Suffa" only to have her redeemed? *NM*

She suffers punishment and is then redeemed? BS said Elaida would be in the outriggers, IIRC. *NM*

You're forgetting that Egwene, Nynaeve and Elayne didn't "break" Moghedien.

good point. I agree on the difficulty of learning from the damane *NM*

I think there is a degree of over-complexity you are bringing to this.
