Elaida knows where the storerooms are, and when the Seanchan find out who she is, it's not out of the realm of possibility that the Seanchan will launch another "raid"

2. Do you really think a second raid wouldn't be crushed quickly? There is no way the AS in the Tower are going to be caught off guard again!

2. Assume Egwene doesn't move quickly enough... who better to know the weaknesses of the Tower than former AS and former Amyrlin?

Not that I think any of this will actually happen (due to time constraints ), but why not?
