If sa'angreal were massproduced, it is a wonder that the world wasn't destroyed during the WoP, IMO ursidae Send a noteboard - 22/12/2009 10:26:47 PM
I actually think the only sensible angreal that we have seen in this series was Graendal's ring - the others are a little corny.

"Let's mass produce some angreal! Oh, and they'll all be in the shape of...a fat man sitting in the lotus position!"

"Oh, let's make a few that look like crystal swords!"

"Anything that doesn't look basic or is easy to hide is approved by our quality control fashionistas!"

"I want to make one in the shape of a ring."

Dead silence...

Since the Forsaken were the top of the foodchain on the side of the Shadow, I reckon they commandeered the most powerful sa'angreal for themselves.

So I reckon Demandred probably had a staff almost as powerful as Callandor, while Sammael had a gauntlet amplifying his strength by 50, Rahvin had a ring giving him 20 times his normal strength etc.

If these things were being mass produced, surely the Forsaken had the most powerful devices available for their personal use.
