Could have been an illusion. We really know nothing of what happens to souls

Other than a general "reincarnation happens" thing, we don't really know what happens.
So, if someone swears their soul to the DO, do they reincarnate? Are they tortured for eternity? Does it not matter, and once they die, that's it?
"Redemption." What does that mean? There's not an afterlife, as far as we know. Rand might have been completely wrong in tGH- Ingtar swore to the DO, maybe that was enough to doom him for eternity.
Maybe the DO gets ALL souls- that's why we saw Rand's mom. Maybe that was just an illusion.
So many variables.

I amuse myself.

That and any oath on the Oath Rod relies very heavily on the swearer's interpretation of the oath.

True. There's a scene where Cadsuane is told about Aiel in the city and she says "I hadn't noticed."

There's reason to believe that if any AS removed the Oaths from themselves, it's Cadsuane. *NM*
