I'm pointing out that we know for fact that male/female links are more potent.

We know that 13 women combined made a HUGE gateway

We know that 4 women linked (unless they are very very strong) do not equal Rand

There is a disconnect here if linking gives such mega bonuses ... 4 women of any strength should be able to manhandle Rand.



There is no disconnect. You must simply accept the fact that linking gains in the creation of gateways are far greater than linking gains in other areas of channeling.

Four Kin linked would struggle to defeat Egwene. But they can make a gateway almost as large as Rand.

That's just a peculiarity of gateways, introduced by RJ for reasons only he knew. Adding more people to a circle enlarges gateways to a greater extent than their strength contribution should warrant.
