Moghedien had good reason to dislike her, very personally, and the only sister who could match one of the Forsaken alone, when she could channel at all, was in Ebou Dar. Moghedien could have killed Egwene without anyone noticing; even had a sister felt her channel, there would be nothing remarkable in that. Worse, Moghedien might not have killed her. And no one would have known anything until they found the pair of them gone.


Egwene just said "Moghedien could sneak up on me and kill or kidnap me in a camp full of AS and odds are none of them would even feel her channel"

You guys are making it sound like Moghedien would make a formal challenge and have a duel with Egwene while hundreds of AS watched!

Don't forget Egwene knows about Masking the Ability and clearly has some assumptions that reversing is possible (she knows inverting is), even if she doesn't know how to do it.
