Egwene would have no idea Moghedien was even there. Masked ability and inverted weaves would have Egwene taken care of before she even knew she was being attacked.

Let's look at skill vs. strength... Even by your scale Moghedien is not close to 2x Egwene, this has been shown as a differential that can be overcome, so why would Egwene worry so much about mere strength which she already knows she cannot match 100% ... and with Moghedien being even 10% Stronger and VASTLY more skilled Egwene knows how the outcome will look. Even if she was 50% stronger than Moghedien she'd probably lose unless she, like Nynaeve, had surprise on her side.

My problem with you is that you consistently make claims like "Even holding 3 men bound in Air Merean is overwhelmingly stronger" when the quote is "Merean was holding 3 small people and was a maybe stronger" are you trying to be deliberately misleading or are you just that lazy as to refuse to look up the actual text?

You try to provide your opinion or interpretation as absolute fact which so far I've found to be very far from reality since in almost every case when I've investigated your quotes you have it wrong.

The Merean reference is an overreaction on your part. You seem to think that I was trying to make a point about the weight of the people Merean was holding in her weave of Air. In fact, I was doing no such thing. It was not really important whether she was holding three men, or a man, woman and child.

The point of that post was that Merean was holding 3 other weaves, and was still defeating Moiraine. Moiraine herself stated that she was losing the battle and was hoping that Lan could intervene to help her.

We know that holding two weaves is more than twice as hard as holding one, and that holding three weaves is more than twice again as hard as holding two, and holding four weaves is again more than twice as hard as holding three.

So here we have Merean, wielding three substantial weaves (holding people in weaves of Air), and at the same time wielding a fourth weave which is gradually overcoming Moiraine in a one on one battle.

So the whole issue that you're raising is in fact a non-issue. Moiraine's herself raised the fact that Merean was so much stronger than her that she can handle those three weaves and at the same time be more than a match for Moiraine. This was borne out by the ensuing battle.
