LTT and the 100 companions of all male channelers seal the bore and then go crazy after because saidin is tainted. I think its the coscensous and direction of the book to not seal the DO but kill him.Using saidin or saidar may bring about the same consequences and may allow the DO to survive through the taint in channelers. Sealing the bore is not epic for this series. The DO must die and what better way than by his own power? The taint was cleansed by being channeled through arihdol. However LTT does say using the OP was a betrayal. His feelings or the truth? Any ways just a thought and im probably wrong. Isnt this fun?
