It makes sense for her not to run. Everybody talks about Rand's not liking to harm women, (Graendal herself mentioned it, that her one hope if they crossed paths is his unwillingness to kill women.) He doesn't just not harm women himself but goes out of his way to prevent others from doing so. So the balefire strike is like having a Tinker stick a knife in your back. A tinker not named Aram.
