moving the story is dandy, but it has to be realistic ... and Vanin talking to AS is strange!


I don't have the book handy, but he more or less tells Mat that if you get involved with Aes Sedai, you basically put the leash around your own neck. Speaking from personal experience, perhaps? Additionally he picked up information faster than Siuan expected. Maybe he is more familiar with Aes Sedai than is normal.



Not to mention he was able to sneak into Salidar without being caught out by the Warders and fit in long enough to get a sense of about how many AS were in the place!
