The reason probably is the fact that one of the major viewpoint characters is missing in TGS. Hence, he may feel he needs to go back and reread that character's storyline.


Could be. If that's the case, Perrin or Elayne would have to be the missing POV. If Elayne's missing, TGS automatically starts out with two stars in my book! :)
