Some people have been speculating that it is Lan... ursidae Send a noteboard - 03/09/2009 07:11:19 PM
... who is left out of TGS. That would however seem to fit what AliasRY said well. (Although Lan's plotline is not that long in KoD and would probably not warrant a re-read all by its own.)

The reason probably is the fact that one of the major viewpoint characters is missing in TGS. Hence, he may feel he needs to go back and reread that character's storyline.

Could be. If that's the case, Perrin or Elayne would have to be the missing POV. If Elayne's missing, TGS automatically starts out with two stars in my book!

I might be able to be objective about TGS even if Elayne is missing. If Perrin is missing, TGS would automatically start out with 5 stars in my book.

Sadly, I don't think that's the case.
