Is Slayer was his killer....how did Slayer know that Asmodean would be walking through just *that* doorway...down *that* hallway...looking for the kitchens? Yes, Slayer has some abilities to flit around through T'A'R, but we haven't seen evidence that he can track down certain people using it. The best example we have of this is his miss-fire on that couple that was staying in Min & Rand's room. He knew the room to go to, and he killed those sleeping in it. He had no idea that Min & Rand had moved on.

So unless you think that he was walking around with the Andoran Palace with his former First Prince of the Sword face on...where one of the older servants would have no doubt recognized him, I find it difficult to believe that Slayer could have been the killer. Besides which, the kill isn't his style. He doesn't clean up after himself, and he doesn't take off with the body.
