Sure, but how many more like her are there and have been over the years? A couple? A dozen? A hundred? More?

What if a bit more training and education and discipline, Else would have become the next Moiraine? I seem to recall that Rand&Mat, two immensely powerfull ta'veren met her before she went to the WT. Who knows, maybe the pattern wanted her there and had she been present, she would have prevented Elaida's reign of terror by accidentally pushing her down the stairs.
