So if you balefired yourself with a -1 hour stream of balefire, you'd die 1 hour ago, even though you would never have been there to balefire yourself. Crazy, but the size of the balefire doesn't matter. The question is whether you could actually touch the stream to your body.


That's my point, you can't balefire yourself with a 1 hour stream, the weave would just disspate around you, nothing will happen. You can only make it work if the stream is really really thin.


You can either balefire yourself or you can't. Adjusting the strength of it really wouldn't change anything. Either the weave touches your body, or it doesn't. If you hit yourself with a -5 hours stream of balefire, you'd die 5 hours ago. If you hit yourself with a -5 seconds stream, you'd die 5 seconds ago. They would both work, or they would both not work.
