I forgot to mention in my first post that Moiraine has a family member, Barthanes, who is a DF. I know that this is common knowledge, but it does support the idea that Moiraine could be a Verin-esque spy posing as a DF. Maybe Barthanes was her "in" to the DF inner circles. Or maybe RJ just put that in there so that we would discuss it in posts on websites dedicated to his work.
