I'll try again.

FIrst off, i dont think a channeler did it, or at minimum that asmo was killed via channeling because:

1. given the speed of the kill (faster than it takes you to speak 2 syllables and faster than it takes the sound from those syllables to stop)--plus
2. proximity of the kill to other channelers yet no detection--means
3. the killer wasnt waiting there for asmo so had no time to prepare weaves or invert weaves

Secondly, with that being said i still asked myself how i could be wrong -- how could a channeler kill asmo with the OP in that time, yet not be detected?

that's what this post was about:

1. a channeler intends to travel to the palace
2. before traveling he/she is in a different place--not the palace
3. he/she opens a gateway into the pantry.
4. asmo opens the door
5. the channeler is still standing on the other side of the gateway and therefore is in a different location
6. the channeler weaves the OP and kills asmo

in the above scenario, the issue i have with time and detection are obviated b/c the killer is weaving from a different place so theoretically cant be detected on teh other side of the gateway when he/she channels.

and opens a gateway in the pantry.
