I think he will try once more to meet with Tuon. Tuon will say no because she is now Empress. NewRand will not care for the petty rituals and such and Travel right to her, where he will kneel down, apologize for his intrusion and for being so arrogant the last time they met. Then he will stand up and tell her "I am the Dragon Reborn. The Last Battle is here. Like it or not, we don't have time for childish games. We need to go now." Ta'varerness will kick in (because Mat will walk in) and there will be some short conversations...
And off to the Last Battle they go.
