3. Lack of communication. It borders on mental retardation in this series.

It made sense in the beginning of the series. Most of our heroes were still green, and were struggling to deal with their roles in the world. Their lack of communication, group planning, or coordination made sense; they wouldn't have known what to do. Later, however, I became pretty fed up with it all. Especially when you have friends who are in important positions, and your situation is such that communication with these friend is highly beneficial, to such an extent that it is almost stupid not develop coordination, it doesn't make sense to keep quite and secretive.
