What the fuck?

This is crap. How the hell did we "go over your heads" to stop newbies posting? First off, generalisation is bad... segregating everyone in "Elders" and "Newbies" is what causes most of the problems in the first place. Secondly.... I just don't get how you can possibly think that new people on the site are "sealed off" from the rest of us.

I mean, you yourself said that at the time, you were a "newbie", and set up a newbie spamming group. Yet now you are a newbie no longer, and have quite a nice little CommMB group that is actually the most prolifent group on the whole board. You probably hold about 20% of all posts between you!

How can you possibly call that exclusion?
I'm not saying the newbies of the time were excluded, I rather mean that future newbies arent going to see the community board as a place they need to be since what they came for is WoT stuff, and that annoys the hell out of me because it has visible decreased the amount of new blood on the board. The reason they are sealed off is because we put them in an environment where they have no desire to expand to the community board, so they seal themselves off effectively.

And the only reason I segregated it into newbie and elder is because at that time when the boards were split there was a very pronounced serperation. Maybe you werent a part of it, I dont know that for a fact, but regardless it happened.

I'm not saying that we dont still get new people here on this board, because we do. But the flow has trickled down to the point where everything on the board seems the same.
