Don't you kind of wonder what happens after the end? *spoilers*

I mean, if you've read Ysabel you see the two who return home mentioned, so you know they didn't get arrested for the murder of their three friends, but how on earth do you explain to Kevin's dad that his son became a ritual sacrifice for a goddess in the fight against the greatest Darkness of the world[s]? Or to Jennifer's parents that their daughter was actually the wife of King Arthur reincarnated (or however that works) and went away somewhere forever.
Great conversation, that. Though given the complete lack of surprise that Kay's Earth people seem to show when confronted with, you know, ALTERNATE REALITIES, maybe he'd be completely okay with it.

The tree seemed a bit stilted to me. Kay was still struggling with his writing there, I think.
