Here already. What are you reading?
So so very good.
Honestly, I'm stunned that this book and the series isn't better know. It may be the most important science fiction series written, it's brilliant and impossible to put down. In terms of socio-political insights/intricacy it blows Red Mars out of the water.
And it's immensely readable. Everything about it sounds intimidating, but reading it is like eating popcorn.

I'm not reading any books right now. None. Zero. Not planning on changing that, either.

A change of plans. Has anyone heard of "The Mill on the Floss" by George Eliot?

I've read it. I enjoyed it, which surprised me, because Eliot isn't the happiest writer.

I take it from that statement that The Mill on the Floss is basic reading in other countries?
