1. What dystopian literature have you read?

Handmaid's Tale, The Giver, Gathering Blue, The Hunger Games (I guess this qualifies) Brave New World, Farenheit 451, 1984, and probably about half a dozen others. There are a surprising amount of YA dystopian books
2. Which was your favorite, and why?

Gotta be 1984. It was just fantastic. I was totally into it. I remember sitting in a Jack in the Box with a chicken sandwich in one hand (mmmmm, chicken sandwich) and the book in the other for several hours. I guess that's not totally accurate. The chicken sandwich was gone in about 3 minutes. If any book gave 1984 a run for its money, it would be Farenheit 451. Also amazing. Maybe even better. I'll have to ponder this and make a definite decision sometime soon.
3. Which was your least favorite, and why?

Brave New World seemed a bit slow for me.
4. Which did you find most disturbing, and why?

1984. One word- rats.
5. Do you find it hard to read some dystopian literature because it is so disturbing?

Not really. My wife is a HUGE fan of the genre, and I love reading them to. We read them together at night, you know, so we sleep soundly and whatnot.

Don't get too spoilerific in these.

Currently I'm reading Zamyatin's We. Anyone else ever read it? Thoughts?

Never heard of it. Make sure to post a review so I know if it's worth my time. Oh, and nice survey
