Reading a year's worth of issues of Gargoyle Magazine for BAF Larry Send a noteboard - 02/06/2010 07:18:20 AM
And then the past few issues of Southern Review, a couple of issues each of The Harvard Review and The New England Review, maybe some Florida Review and Colorado Review, and then finish the so-far excellent Conjunctions: 54: Shadow Selves. Oh, and three more issues of Tin House and then two issues of Witness. I think that covers most of the remaining lit journals/magazines I have left to read through before I mail off around June 10th my second and final box of suggested literature to the guest editor for Best American Fantasy 4, Minister Faust.

Between then and afterward?

I'm thinking about reading The Portable Blake, re-reading the final five volumes of The Malazan Book of the Fallen series, Esslemont's two related novels to Erikson's series, re-reading Dan Simmons' two Endymion novels, and maybe re-reading some Matt Stover, Stephen King's The Dark Tower series and a few recently-released books by Paolo Bacigalupi and Nnedi Okorafor.

And doubtless more reads than the ones mentioned above.

Oh, and this will be around the beginning of my planned summer-long exercise regimen, which when I'm in better shape will take about 1-2 hours of my day almost every day of the week. I rule at maximizing time...and procrastinating on other matters :|
