It talked about how perhaps some of these books hadn't even been opened yet, and the thrill of opening them as the first ever person (um, sure, that's worth hundreds of thousands of pounds...). Then the expert went "But of course if you bought them, you wouldn't do that". So er, yeah, I have to agree with you - why on earth would you pay a fortune for books that you then don't even open?
