Don't flame me for saying it.... Erith Send a noteboard - 07/09/2009 04:49:40 AM
But the first time I read GRRM's "Game of Thrones" I absolutely DETESTED it. In fact, I didn't even finish my initial reading. And I will read cereal boxes, people. But there was something about it...I dunno. I just HATED it. I picked it back up later when I was completely desperate for something to read that I hadn't practically memorized. It was better the second and third readings so my feelings of hatred have dulled.

Whoever said "Catcher In the Rye" is RIGHT ON. That is one stupid-assed book. I even own the piece of shit and every time I see it on my bookshelf I think, "Wtf do I own that crap for? I should tear out the pages and use it for toilet paper."

Also, Stephen King writes either gems or crap. I'm pretty sure that guy ran King over with his van for writing "The Tommyknockers."
