the more I suspect that the problem of adaptation is not so much the adapting itself. It is the fact that actors are never perfect, directors sometimes less so (shocking, I know), and I would not have full creative control. As I lack both the time and money.


Which is what I think of all of the dire adaptations of Dracula. If I had the money I'd make a damned good job of it.
