That sounds an awful lot like some of my issues- specifically that whole Night of something or the other that he was setting up in the compound when he kept rapidly shifting PoVs, combined with the dreams. It really took me out of the flow he had created up to that point. Though I will concede that it partially acted as a natural break in the story before the next part began.
