Tor's new senior publicist only told me in an email a few weeks ago that my name was mentioned as one of the ones that would be getting top priority in getting copies of the book, presumably soon after they arrive from the printers. So I would guess 1-2 weeks before the official release date, but nothing longer than that. There wouldn't be a review anyways until just after midnight of the scheduled release date - I do tend to follow embargoes or requests when delivered personally.

Are review copies of ToM going out sooner than the TGS ones, or will it be another week before deal?

If I had the opportunity to get an advance copy I wouldn't trust the US Mail

Does Tor think you like WoT, or do they just send you all their releases that early?
