Not counting stuff like the Bible, Gardens of the Moon DREWRULESWOT! Send a noteboard - 04/08/2010 06:39:12 AM
So at the current rate I'm flying through LA COMMUNAUTÉ DE L'ANNEAU (roughly a page every ten minutes), I expect to blast through the remaining 652 pages in a little over 108 hours. Instead of focusing on that particular misery, a survey of sorts:

1) what's the longest time you've spent reading a book?
2) do you ever get put off by length?
3) what about complexity?
4) how long is too long?
5) Is there any hope of me making it through Tom Bombadil in this thing?

Y'all have a great day now, y'hear.

I picked it up back in May, and I'm about 325 pages in. I got Deadhouse Gates, and while I was at B&N I happened to see the massive nature of the subsequent books. My motivation to read that series has completely disappeared.
Here's to keeping the spirit of Wotmania alive...cheers to RAFO
