Some have a large number of audio books that can be downloaded for free.
Your taste seems to lean heavily towards epic fantasy so most of what I have listened to may not appeal to you but His Dark Materials was interesting because they actually use actors for the different roles. T I liked the first book more then the last two but it is all well done from an audio point of view.

The Shannara series was cliche even back when it was written. It's downright painful now.
