...on what the Nahel bond is?

In one of Dalinar's flashbacks, King Nohadon said, "the Nahel bond gave (Alakavish) no more wisdom than a regular man. Alas, not all spren are as discerning as honorspren."

And we know that Kaladin has an honorspren following him around.

Thoughts, ideas, opinions, wild guesses?

Personally, I think it's similar to the Warder bond in WoT. The spren takes on more human characteristics (longer memory, intelligence, etc) and the human gets some spren ability, depending on the type of spren bonded.
