Not that his other books are anything less than wonderful, but Tigana and The Lions of Al-Rassan are my favorites of his. I haven't read the Sarantium books yet, though, nor The Last Light of the Sun or Under Heaven.
He's very well known inside fantasy circles. He isn't well known outside of them, which is a pity. He represents everything that is good about the genre.
