Sure, that might do nicely. Would you recommend a specific book, or just anything by her? Ordinarily, my first inclination might be Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but I don't think that really qualifies here.

I want to read that too, but I was actually thinking of the boring old Pride and Prejudice. If you're prejudiced (harhar) against older writing, you may not like it, but it is an excellent novel. It's a (mostly) light-hearted look into the way life was lived back in the day, but also has some of the accompanying drama. And I can't tell you much else w/o giving things away, but I'm going to marry Mr. Darcy.
It is on an internet list of best classic romance, so, of course, it's totally good to go.
