Russian/Soviet history
I am looking for some books that offer good commentary and perspective on the period from the build up to WWI probably through WWII and maybe the end of Stalin's time in office.

Post-Revolution to Civil War US history
Similarly, I am looking for some materials that focus on the time between the constitution and the Civil War. I have some good stuff for either side of that time period.
