Tried by War by James M. McPherson random thoughts Send a noteboard - 15/09/2009 07:01:30 PM
I have read a fair number of Civil War books but this one gave the best description of Licoln's role in the war. There is an obvious pro Lincoln bias in the book but not to point of being gushy.
