The first book was good, the rest of the series was hit or miss. Still, Anderson is at best a mediocre author that has made a name for himself for piggybacking with Frank's son to continue the Dune legacy... and doing so at an even lower quality than any of the original series.
Has anybody ever felt sorry for these authors at book signings?
