Question re: Family Chronicle. Do you mean books like One Hundred Years of Solitude?
We were trying to think of less obvious genres and that one came to mind, but there are definitely many kinds of family chronicles, ranging from the highly literary like OHYoS to the, well, pulp. The choice is yours.
