Hey Rafonauts
Hello.
A few questions for you on your reading habits.
Alright>
1 - Approximately how many books do you read in the average month?
Usually at least 4 or 5, usually more, but I've been busy lately so not that many this month. I'm only on my third book now.
2 - Of those books, what ratio would be Sci-fi/Fantasy compared with Not SFF? (Ie SFF:NotSFF)
That changes. But to keep it simple I guess about 50/50.
3 - (with credit to Tom) Which of these do you read:
Fantasy
Read this most.
Sci-fi
Not as big a fan, but there are a few that I love.
Historical Fiction
Some, but I get picky there.
Classics
Same as Historical Fiction.
Thrillers
Less than Fantasy, more than Sci-Fi.
Crime/Mystery
Bout the same as thrillers.
Other fiction stuff (like Ian McEwan, Kazuo Ishiguro etc)
Depends.
Non-fiction
Not as much lately, but that is mostly because I don't have all of my books with me atm.
Graphic Novels
I like them but don't read them as much as I would like.
Manga
Nope
Plays
Not as much as I used to.
Poetry
Sometimes.
Short stories (please specify what genre they might belong to)
Not really.
Magazines
I used to.
Newspapers
No.
4 - Do you read every day?
Yes
5 - Do you find it easy to discuss the books you read?
In person, yes.
5a - If not, do you know what might make it easier?
I am just shy.
6 - Do you buy books as soon as they are published?
When I can afford to.
7 - What do you like to see in reviews?
I don't really read them, because so many people have different opinions, and I don't like to be told what to read.
Thanks.
You're welcome.
