...the previously mentioned "catch-up" POV chapters from Feast will make it into the book after all? Given how thick the book appears to be, I worry they may not, though I suppose those chapters might already be in place, contributing to that very thickness.


We knew that Asha and Arya were in both books and that Arianne Martell, Sansa Stark and Aeron Greyjoy's catch-up chapters had been bumped to THE WINDS OF WINTER (though they didn't really need them in ADWD, so not a problem; Arianne's AFFC cliffhanger set up a storyline that will be major in ADWD anyway).

Martin also confirmed a little while ago that Cersei will have at least 2 chapters in ADWD and as far as I know, they're still in there. Whether the likes of Jaime and Sam will have POV chapters is unclear (neither had cliffhangers), but the biggest question mark is over Brienne. Martin obviously can't reveal that without it being a huge spoiler (since her cliffhanger was the biggest in AFFC and the one most in need of resolution, GRRM saying she's not in ADWD could be taken as confirmation she's dead, whilst her being in it means she's still alive).
