I doubt it will be on July 12th. I don't believe you. It's not done. You even stated that you're not finished. So we have a release date. SO WHAT?!? When have you ever cared about any release date at all? You have set so many and watched them go by (like the Jets Super Bowl chances). I can't get excited about it anymore. One more chapter could take you another 4 months; that's QUITE within the realm of possibility.

I know you are not my bitch, George. I'm not going to whine and cry about it being 6 years. I do care about being a man of your word. You are not a man of your word George. You have made many promises that you failed to keep. Do you realize that at your current pace, Winds of Winter will be out sometime around 2017? Or, God forbid, you run into another "knot," it might be a decade.

I hope that you can keep your word this time, I really do. But I hold out no hope that it will actually happen. Good luck, and happy writing.
