is it epic fantasy? i would wiki it but im always wary of accidental spoilers there. many a twist or denouement were ruined through a wiki plot summary :(.

it seems the amazon reviews are glowing, as well. i think i will pick it up. can you vouch for the prose? some of those sword of truth books could have been great if not for goodkinds prose.


The books are in first person POV so it's always from the main character's POV. I don't know if that makes any difference to you (if you can't stand the main character then the books won't work for you.) Hobb's prose is good but nothing great. But her characterization is top notch. Every character has their own personality and you actually care for them. That is what you're interested in, yes?
