I actually read it w/o any previous knowledge of what to expect, and I really loved it. I was not young (in my twenties), but I have been thinking I need to re-read it anyway.

was it already out when you were in your twenites?? Or did you get hold of an early draft about the 100-year war?

You've gone for quite a while - feelin' self-satisfied right now? I'm sure that was costing you something to hold back.
