I've tried googling it, with various ways of phrasing it, but no luck tracking down who that quote is attributed to. I want to say it was either Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke or Heinlein, but can't be sure.

I know I have seen that quote somewhere, in some variation, but cannot remember where.

Anyone got a clue?
