Its not really all that bad, and the banter between characters makes it quite fun. Erikson tries unsuccessfully to make statements in his books and to have a a moral so to speak, but thats all for the better. They're pretty light and fun reads.

It's mostly difficult to get into because you're dropped in the middle of the story.
