Yes. I am an absolute WHORE for a well bound old musty book. I have bought multiple books just for this reason. That being said, I do try to read them (or at least, plan on reading them. School doesn't leave me much time for reading) and I've actually enjoyed most of them!
I usually keep books in case I want to read them later, or on the off chance someone else might want to (I've kept some books I got as gifts and never read for that reason). If I get rid of them, I either give them away to people I know are looking for that particular book, or I resell them at the used bookstore in town.
