At least as far as I can remember there is no requirement or prophecy saying that Dany would be mating or marrying with either of the other dragon riders. (Of course, to be honest, I hope she does hook up with someone, preferably Tyrion!). And Jon wouldn't need to marry her to bolster his claim to the throne either (at least once whoever has the knowledge of his parentage lets it out). Hell, the whole claiming of the throne might never even occur until AFTER Jon has already basically saved the whole realm with the aid of Dany and her dragons.


And sure, Jon and Dany could get together, since we all know that Targaryens like to keep it in the family (gross to us, but there are real world historical examples as I am sure everyone knows). And it isn't like they are brother and sister, just cousins (although that is still kinda close for my tastes, but then they are the blood of the dragon).

Martin's not gonna go this way. He knows it's gross for us and more importantly, Jaime and Cersei did that, at a time in the books when you simply hate them. It would have a very stale taste to have Jon and Dany shrug it off and just have them go at it. Not gonna happen.
Unless they aren't even related. *hopes* ;)
