it sucks that you lose total interest in reading what could otherwise be a very good story just because it has dragons in it. I take it The Hobbit had no interest to you then?
To me a dragon is a big dumb object, soo very cliche. Of course I've read good stories that had dragons in them, and enjoyed them, but haven't gained any interest or affection for dragons. I've had Naomi Novik's book for several years and I'm sure I'll like it once I read it, but just not eager.
